Boat Building

  Exposure to the world of boat building, products, information, contacts worldwide, discount merchandise, low cost global cruising concepts, a whole new life, and lifestyle await all those who dare to take the Boat Building Courses.
  

• Our Current Course Offerings:

  BOAT BUILDING  101  CERTIFICATION COURSE                                                
  $200 per person

  This course is the entry level in Entry Level boat building. Here is where building your dream becomes reality. You will learn stitch and glue methodology to boat building from bullet proofing to buoyancy. Through hands on cutting, shaping, plans reading, stitching, glassing, epoxying, fairing, more sanding, painting and finally putting her in the water. Anyone 10 years old to adult in good health can participate. Be a part of exploring and enjoying the last great 70% frontier on our planet.
  
  This fee includes course instruction and tools and material for class boat. An additional fee of $275 will be required if student desires to build their own tender during class, along with the instructor.
  
  Time Requirement: 2 separate days. Usually, the days are Saturday (daytime), Sunday (daytime)

  
  Boat Building 102 ADVANCED COURSE
  $425 per person
  
  Prerequisite of boat Building 101 is required. Completely different from the first course, Boat building 102 takes you on a path of building a very personalized watercraft larger in size. Students learn lapstreak, much bigger concepts of boats including ocean going cruisers, receive a free book and DVD, and further their knowledge in boat building.
  
  Time Requirement: 3 separate ½ days. Usually, the days are Friday night, Saturday (daytime), Sunday (daytime)

• Additional training classes are available after the completion of the above required basic courses. Courses can be completed in as little as a weekend or spread over 2 weekends.

• Group and corporate rates are severely discounted and include several other additional features beyond just a standard Boat Building 101 Course. We bring the tools, materials, and talent to you!

  Fees for Seminar are in US Dollars as follows:

  50-100 attendees                 $3500 at your location

Sailing

• Our Current Course Offerings:

  Sailing Adventures Begin HERE! 

  Our Courses are taught by instructors certified by

       American Sailing Association or US Sailing with a certification granted upon course completion for the student.

  INTRO TO SAILING 2 hour Mini-course          $40 per person     

  This course is a very basic quick starter course to see if sailing is for you. You will learn the basics and get to try sailing a boat as well.

   

  BASIC SMALL BOAT SAILING COURSES      $175 per person

  This course is the entry level in Sailing.  Here is where the magic of sailing begins. Learn the basics in this class, enough to get you out in safe waters.  We STRONGLY recommend taking further advanced courses after this. Anyone 10 years old to adult with a smile can participate.
  
  Time Requirement: 3 separate ½ days. Usually the days are Friday night, Saturday (daytime), Sunday (daytime)

   

  BASIC OUTDOOR MOTOR BOATING COURSES         
  $25 per person

  This course is the entry level in Motor Boating.  A basic course designed to introduce the student to understanding motor boating. Learn the basics in this class. Once again, this is enough to get you out in safe waters and meet minimum state requirements.  We STRONGLY recommend taking further advanced courses after this. Anyone 16 years old to adult with a smile can participate.
  
  Time Requirement:  ½ Day

  
  BASIC KEEL BOAT SAILING COURSES          $175 per person

  This course is more or less identical to Basic Sailing, but with an orientation to Keel boats.  Learn to sail in a medium sized keelboat. Topics include sail handling, navigation rules, boating safety and more. Learn the basics in this class, enough to get you out in safe waters.  We STRONGLY recommend taking further advanced courses after this. Anyone 10 years old to adult with a smile can participate.
  

  Time Requirement: 3 separate ½ days. Usually the days are Friday night, Saturday (daytime), Sunday (daytime)

SCUBA

  OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION COURSE   
  $295 per person
  
  This course is the entry level in SCUBA Diving.  Here is where the wonderful underwater world adventures begin. Anyone 10 years old to adult in good health can participate. Be a part of exploring and enjoying the last great 70% frontier on our planet.

  This fee includes course materials, equipment, pool fees and boat charters.
  
  Time Requirement: 2 separate days. Usually, the days are Saturday (daytime), Sunday (daytime) or Monday/ Wednesday or Tuesday/ Thursday

   

  ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER COURSE $325 per person

  Upon completion of the Water Diver you probably will want to move on to this course to gain confidence, experience and 6 more ocean dives.  Night dives, deep dives, or drift dives can be part of this unforgettable experience. A textbook is provided, but there is NO TEST!   
  Time Requirement: 3 separate ½ days. Usually the days are Friday night, Saturday (daytime), Sunday (daytime)

• Additional training classes are available after the completion of the above required basic courses.  Courses can be completed in as little as a weekend or spread over 2 weekends. Our certification and training range from Basic Open Water Certification to Dive Masters.
